If you lose battery power to your Gold Wing or your key fob dies you will need to use your hidden key to open the saddle bags and trunk. The small plastic panel concealing the key hole is virtually impossible to remove without tools. You’ll need a flat head screw driver to pry the panel off, which you aren’t likely to have in your pocket!
