Description
The Traxxion Dynamics Engine Case Guard for the 2018+ Honda Goldwing is designed to protect a weak spot in your Goldwing’s engine cases, which can be broken open by a piece of road debris thrown up by the front tire. It also protects all of the drain bolts and the oil filters.
This guard is constructed from 6061-T6 Aluminum, and is hardcoat anodized for extreme duty and longevity. The installation can be done with only a couple of tools and about 30 minutes of time.
Once the guard has been installed, only the plate needs to be removed for oil changes, and which takes only a couple of minutes.
The plate is mounted only to the engine, isolating it from the frame to prevent any damage to the frame in the event of an impact. It is extremely rigidly mounted, and will allow you to jack the motorcycle up for cleaning and service without removing it.
We have two versions: Standard, and an optional “Alcan” version which is 2 inches wider than standard. This model is only necessary for persons frequently riding in extreme conditions like gravel roads.
Each kit includes 3 extra screws for the plate in case you loose or damage one. A pack of ten spare plate screws is also available.
Fits all models from 2018 to present.
The Alcan/6SPD model offers additional protection for the shifter linkage on 6SPD models. On DCT equipped models, the Alcan is only to be selected if you are constantly riding on rough gravel roads. Standard will work for 95% of riders.
