Rebound adjust and threaded preload adjust. This -40mm shock is marketed elsewhere as a “standard” shock but that is only true in relation to seat height. The stock Honda shock is so softly sprung that it oversags considerably. This TracTive upgrade will be sprung properly for your weight and won’t oversag, but this would raise seat height so this TracTive shock is shorter, maintaining a seat height that is similar to stock. This TracTive shock also reduces total travel by 40mm from 250mm to 210mm so it is only recommended if you need the low seat height that the over-sagging stock shock provides. TracTive raised the bar in Adventure Bike shock design when their products were first unveiled. No shock manufacturer before has used such heavy duty components or more durable designs intended specifically for Adventure Bike use. Although this shock is a non-reservoir design, it is still one tough dude.
